Three words to describe Queen's set tonight? BRIAN MAY SHREDS!
The highly anticipated performance by Queen featuring Adam Lambert was nothing short of legendary at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. The group kicked off their set with "Bohemian Rhapsody" and followed with classics like "Another One Bites The Dust" and “We Are The Champions.” Adam Lambert put his unique twist on our favorite songs all while paying a proper tribute to the late lead singer, Freddie Mercury. Do you think Adam's mustache was a part of his tribute to Mercury? COMMENT BELOW!
Lambert wasn't the only musician paying their respect to Mercury. The guys of fun. also joined the band on-stage for two songs during their set: "Somebody To Love" and "Fat Bottomed Girls." At one point, it almost looked like Nate Ruess was at a loss for words while on-stage with Queen. Needless to say he was taking it all in!
Part of the unique twist Lambert put into his performance was his snazzy dance moves. From the hair whips to the pelvic thrusts, he brought down the house all while vibing with Brian May on the guitar and Roger Taylor on the drums.
Hands down, Queen featuring Adam Lambert was the best way to close out night one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival!
